Rave Reviews for Our Lake of the Ozarks Mexican Restaurant

It's no surprise that we believe Mexicali Blues is the best Mexican restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks. You probably assume that we are a little biased, though. For that very reason, today we've gathered a few customer reviews from people that have dined with us recently.

Their non-biased opinions are much more likely to convince you that the best Mexican food at the Lake of the Ozarks comes out of the kitchen at Mexicali Blues. (It will also be obvious that Tuesdays around here are especially popular!)

"This is just a fun family place that we’ve been going to for years. In fact, our waitress from over 15 years ago remembered our family when we came back this spring. The prices are great. Tuesday’s are fun for cheap tacos. We bought the salsa to take back home. We love Mexican and there are only about 2 places we consistently go to. This is one of them. Great service."

"Best “Taco Tuesday” in the entire lake region:
My wife and I join friends at Mexicali Blues often for “Taco Tuesday,” and we’ve never been disappointed. The $1 tacos are the same size and quality as other full-price days, and the free unlimited salsa and chips make this the best bargain for great tasting food in the Lake of the Ozarks region. The margaritas are delicious and value-priced, too."

"We got fast service and server was very friendly and checked back on us several times during our meal to make sure everything was OK."

"My local favorite Mexican restaurant. Love the staff & the food. We are regulars & most everyone knows us & our order by now. Nice feeling when even the owners will stop by to chat for a bit."
Sharon Thurmond, Google review

"Came for Taco Tuesday and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Completely satisfied with the shredded beef, chicken & ground beef hard shell tacos at $1 each. The complimentary chips & salsa are excellent, too!! Service was fast and our waitress was outstanding. We will be back next Tuesday for certain. If you are near Osage Beach, get here as fast as you can."

"Mexicali Blues is fantastic! Best fish tacos and margaritas I've had since I left San Clemente years ago! I can hardly wait to go back!

"Lunch:
Homemade chips and salsa was good and the chips weren't too salty! Had very tasty meals which we didn't wait long for. Service was above average for sure. They do not short you on the tequila in the margaritas, they are strong and delicious. They have a great Taco Tuesday deal.

"Taco Tuesday every week!:
Great food, nice atmosphere, and Taco Tuesday every week! I had pork, beef and chicken tacos that were excellent! Be sure to ask for the extra hot salsa if you like spicy.

"Good food and margaritas, chips are thin and salsa is fresh. Service is great & very friendly. The Pancho Villa burrito is huge, but lets you try three meats in one dish, each with a different sauce."
