Cure Those Mexican Food Cravings at Mexicali Blues During Lake Bikefest!

The 14th Annual Bikefest Lake of the Ozarks is happening this week, September 16-20, 2020. With 5 full days of scenic rides, awesome concerts, exciting activities, and a whole lot more, you're going to need to take a few breaks to have enough energy to enjoy as much of that as possible.

We suggest filling at least one of those breaks with the best Mexican food at the Lake of the Ozarks! (You're probably riding right by here anyway!) We open the doors to Mexicali Blues in Osage Beach at 4:00 pm every Taco Tuesday-Saturday, so you'll have plenty of chances to cruise on by during the event.

Lake Bikefest 2020

For those of you who haven't already heard about Bikefest Lake of the Ozarks (where have you been?), here's a quick rundown. Once you see all the excitement surrounding this annual event, you're probably going to want to make a last-minute trip to the lake!

The lake area offers the ultimate Bikefest experience. Motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the United States make the trek every year to enjoy some of the nation's most scenic rides through the rolling Ozark hills. Over 300 biker-friendly venues plan to entertain this great group each year, and Mexicali Blues is definitely one of them!

You can find all the details you need to get where you want to be throughout the event at www.LakeBikefest.com. That site has 3 downloadable ride maps, entertainment schedules, details about the Bikefest Passport Ride, which is giving away a brand new Harley-Davidson, plus a whole lot more. Those completed passports must be turned in at the "Official Passport Booth" in the vendor village behind the Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson dealership, which just happens to be a short distance up the highway from our Lake of the Ozarks Mexican restaurant! (What a great coincidence!)

Mexican Food - It's What's For Dinner!

When you're ready for a bite to eat, Mexicali Blues will be ready for you! We are open Tuesday-Thursday from 4-9 pm and Friday-Saturday from 4-10 pm. Each meal starts with complimentary chips and salsa. That salsa happens to be our very own house recipe, made with fresh, unprocessed, all-natural ingredients that we also have available packaged in jars so you can take it home with you. We have an Original Salsa, a Salsa Verde, and a "XXX" Hot Salsa.

Once you're settled in, you'll find a menu filled with classic Mexican cuisine, like Fajitas, Burritos, Chimichangas, Enchiladas, and more. We serve quite a few specialty items as well, including Lobster Tacos, Carnita and Shrimp Bowls, Mexican Fireballs, and a super-stringy Queso Fundido dip that is a big local favorite. (Try it once, you'll want it every time you visit!)

We also serve the best margaritas at the Lake of the Ozarks in tons of delicious varieties, both on the rocks and frozen. The fully stocked bar can mix up about any drink you like, plus we've got plenty of ice-cold beers in the bottle and on tap plus an impressive variety of tequilas. If you happen to dine with us before you're done riding for the day, no worries because we've got lots of refreshing non-alcoholic drinks too.

We hope you all enjoy Bikefest Lake of the Ozarks this year. We'd love for you to stop by Mexicali Blues, tell us where you traveled from, and fill us in on all the excitement you've seen during this year's event. It seems to get better every single year!
