How Do You Like Your Burrito? We've Got 7 Versions You'll Love!
We offer a wonderful variety of delicious menu items at our Lake of the Ozarks Mexican restaurant. Every person that comes in usually has a favorite dish in mind before they order. Among the most requested items is our incredible list of Mexicali Blues burritos.
With 7 different kinds to choose from, it may be hard for you to narrow down a favorite. Of course, it's hard to have a favorite when they're all this good! Your best bet is to come in often, order a different one each visit, and then start the list over again once you're done! Here's a closer look at each version we have for you to choose from.
The Mexicali
Inside the Mexicali burrito, you'll get beans plus your choice of either chicken, pork, or beef. Then on the outside, it is topped with enchilada sauce, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and green onions. It is also possible to substitute fajita chicken or steak as your meat choice.
Chili Con Queso
This ground beef and bean burrito is smothered in our savory chili con queso dip, which is a warm melted cheese with chili peppers. On top of that, we also add lettuce, sour cream, and green onions.
Chipotle
This tasty burrito is made up of a large tortilla stuffed with beans, cheese, and a delicious chipotle sauce plus your choice of fajita chicken, steak, or shrimp. After that is wrapped up together, it all gets topped with cheese and sour cream and served with sauteed onions and peppers on the side.
El Zapatista
This mouthwatering burrito is stuffed with your choice of either fajita chicken or shrimp plus rice, onions, and peppers. All of that is topped with a savory cream cheese sauce, lettuce, and pico de gallo.
Surf & Turf
One meat wasn't enough for this incredible burrito! Inside you'll find both fajita shrimp and steak along with rice and beans. Covering the top is a rich enchilada sauce, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and green onions.
Pancho Villa
Going even bigger than the Surf & Turf, our Pancho Villa burrito has 3 different types of meat inside of it and 3 different sauces on top of it! A large tortilla is stuffed with pork, chicken, AND shredded beef plus black beans and rice. All of that deliciousness is smothered with enchilada sauce, queso blanco, AND chili con queso, then topped with lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, and green onions.
Deep Fried Burrito
This one is similar to a chimichanga due to the crunchy outer layer but it's slightly different on the inside. We wrap your choice of either chicken, pork, or beef plus rice and beans in a tortilla, deep-fry it, and then cover it with enchilada sauce, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and green onions.
