Our Mexican restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks has been serving the fine people of the lake area, as well as the many visitors our area gets each year, since the year 2000. We are thrilled to say that we see a lot of repeat customers at Mexicali Blues. If you haven't had the chance to give us a try, here are 5 reasons that we believe you'll love it here. 

Fresh Mexican Food
Only the freshest ingredients are used in every dish that we make and you can taste the quality with just one bite! Your visit begins with freshly made tortilla chips and our homemade salsa, which includes only fresh, unprocessed, natural ingredients. Our salsa is so irresistible, we've even bottled it (in Original, Salsa Verde, and XXX Hot) so you can take some with you to enjoy at home!

You'll find all of your favorite classic Mexican dishes on the menu, like tacos, burritos, chimichangas, and fajitas. We also serve a wonderful mix of menu items that are special to our restaurant, like our very popular Lobster Tacos. You simply have to try our famous Queso Fundido while you're here too. It's a smooth and super-stringy cheese dip that's a local favorite. When the weather is nice outside, you can even enjoy your meal on our covered outdoor patio. 

Brand New Menu Items
If you're new to Mexicali Blues, then the entire menu is new to you but we think you'll still be interested to know that we've recently added even more deliciousness to the menu. It's something fresh for our regulars to try and more reasons for newbies need to check us out before the menu choices get even bigger! New this year we've added:

The best Mexican food at the Lake of the Ozarks is incredible on its own but pairing it with the best margaritas at the Lake of the Ozarks makes the experience even better! You'll find over a dozen different margaritas to try on the menu in addition to our very popular house margarita, plus 10 different flavors of frozen margaritas. 

Don't worry if that's not your cocktail of choice, because our fully stocked bar is capable of mixing all kinds of drinks and we have a wonderful selection of ice-cold bottled and draft beers too.

The quality of the food is extremely important but the fact that it is presented to you by our friendly servers and bartenders makes the experience all the more memorable and pleasant! Taco Tuesday
Quite possibly the most popular day of the week at Mexicali Blues is Tuesday, more commonly known around here as Taco Tuesday at the Lake of the Ozarks. We serve our amazing tacos from open until close for only $1 each! You simply can't pass up a deal like that and you're bound to see quite a few familiar faces enjoying this crowd-pleasing weekly event after you attend a few yourself. 


Our family-friendly Lake of the Ozarks restaurant opens at 11:30 am every Tuesday-Saturday. If you're in the lake area already, plan a trip to Mexicali Blues at your earliest convenience. For those of you reading this from out of town, make it a point to check us out when you visit the lake area. (Maybe we're just the excuse you need to plan a vacation!) The International Day of the Nacho falls on Wednesday, October 21 this year, and our Lake of the Ozarks Mexican Restaurant serves a loaded nacho plate that is definitely worthy of a celebration!
