Our Fajitas Are Fantastic, but Which Kind is Your Favorite?

An extremely popular dinner item at our Lake of the Ozarks Mexican restaurant is our fantastic fajitas. The fresh, flavorful ingredients we use here at Mexicali Blues give them a taste that will tickle your taste buds and leave you looking forward to the next time you can order them again!

Not only is the flavor incredible but putting together your own custom creation at the table makes it fun too. Ordering fajitas at Mexicali Blues is an easy decision. The hardest part is deciding which delicious meat to choose for the main ingredient!

Fantastic Fajita Choices
In case you are unfamiliar with this particular dish, a fajita consists of grilled-to-order meat on a bed of onions and peppers served on a hot skillet. It comes with warm flour tortillas and a plate full of additional toppings that include rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and tomatoes. The add-ons are the same with each order, but you'll need to choose a main meat for the skillet.

Since classic fajitas were made from beef, steak is an obvious choice. Of course, as delicious as our fajita steak is, we don't just limit you to that single meat option. It might be easier for you if we did because your other choices are equally as mouthwatering!

Steak
The rich, bold flavors of our grilled steak meat makes for an irresistible meal and the peppers and onions grilled along with it add to the deliciousness.

Chicken
Grilled chicken is an excellent alternative to grilled steak. It picks up the flavors of the grilled onions and peppers in the most flavorful way.

Shrimp
We have quite a few seafood lovers here in mid-Missouri and this particular seafood grills up perfectly with those peppers and onions to create an amazing variety of fajita.

Can't Decide? Have It All!
We realize that picking between steak, chicken, or shrimp is an extremely difficult choice so to a make things easier on you, you don't have to decide! Our combination fajita plates allow you to masterfully mix the meats together in a combo of your choosing. Instead of just one or the other, you can get steak and chicken together or go for a skillet of all three, adding shrimp to the mix.

Additional Fajita Flavor
The meats we serve with our fajita entrees are so unbelievably good, we decided to add them to the ingredient list of a few other Mexicali Blues menu items too.
